The Open-Air Museum in Modrá organizes an event, Life in Great Moravia – "Week for Schools" from 16.6. to 20.6.
Program offer of Week for Schools:
- professional commentary
- demonstration of ancient life (one part of the museum will be animated)
- short fighting performance
- functional bakery
- crafting production (we reserve the right to change individual crafts according to craftsmen participation)
- net-making
- lace-making
- card-woven-belts-making
- bone and antler products
- pottery
- carving
- frame-handweaving
- smithery (some "cold" procedures)
- you can also try some of the crafts
- archery, catapults and fustibale (stave sling)
- demonstration of sharp weapon effectiveness
- "training dummy" (you can try to handle the weapon on your own)
Accompanying teachers are responsible for students throughout the entire visit!!!
